Its unbelievable how fast mixed martial arts (mma) has become a mainstream sport. Not too long ago John Mccain reffered to the sport as human cockfighting and tried to ban the spectacle. The problem is most of us love the essence of this sport, two men scrapping it out in what looks like a drunken bar fight. Since the gladiator days we love violence in sports. Now, how has this combat sport risen to such prominence. Its simple great marketing. In the past, I mean before the Fertita brothers and Dana White this sport was marketed as a freak show with no rules, obviously thid did not work. On the other hand, Dana and company legitimized the sport by incorporating rules and getting sanctioned by different commissions. Also, A pay per view event Once and sometimes twice a month surely helps. To conclude, UFC has used effective marketing and made mma a legitimate sport thats taking over the sports world.

Whats wrong with people

It seems like more people are going totally freekin crazy than anytime in my short history on this planet. What is up with all these crazy woman killing their husbands and boyfriends. It seems like everyone been getting killed lately. Has anyone ever thought about leaving your loved one when you even just entertain the mere thought of killing someone! Give me a break, get a life, grow a pair!
